Rope Snowman Class
Supplies needed:
1. Sewing machine that can do a zig zag stitch
2. Sewing machine table
3. Jeans needle
4. Pre wound bobbins with the ivory polyester thread. I would suggest winding 4 bobbins
5. Polyester thread to match the rope
6. 1 100 ft of 100% cotton braided rope.
7. Foot to use a zig zag stitch ( I love the 34D)
8. Glue gun if you have one or I will have one available.
9. Stiletto
10. Scotch tape
11 . General sewing supplies (Scissors, ruler, seam ripper, rotary cutter)
12. Small piece of 1 inch ribbon for hat or fur.
13. Black felt for hat.
14. Decorative spring for hat.
15. Buttons for bottom of snowman. I used three buttons.
16. Piece of fleece or wool for the scarf. (2 inch by 26 inches)
For People NOT doing Embroidery
- Buttons for eyes and mouth
- Orange felt for nose
For People DOING Embroidery
- Embroidery module
- Hoop that can fit at least 7 inch wide to fit the head
- Black, white and orange embroidery thread
- Stabil Stick Stabilizer
Please note: Quilt With Passion is respectful of pattern designers and their copyright statements. Each student and teacher must have a separate and original copy of the book, pattern or tool if required for a class as per the supply list. Quilt With Passion will respectfully decline any request to make photocopies unless permission is granted from the designer for a specific purpose.
Class Cancellation/Make-Up Information: If you must cancel a class, please do so at least 7 days before the start of the class. Refunds for these cancellations will be issued in the form of a Quilt With Passion store credit. Store credit may also be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of class if the space is filled by another student. If a class is missed, make up classes may be held at a Sewing School or by arrangements with the instructor to sit in on another class. Make ups must be held within three months of the original class.
